I didn’t know what to write about this week so I’m letting my mind engage in stream of consciousness. My thoughts are flowing onto the screen without a plan.


How about the harshness of marketing? Can you remember a week when some new form of customer engagement didn’t cross your desktop, laptop, tablet, or mobile phone? When you learn a new tactic, a new one appears.


How are we supposed to keep up? How many webinar invites do you receive a month? And, all the while, a sales prospect is spending less time looking at our hard-earned marketing collateral.


My remedy for the marketing chaos is reading as much as I can, regardless of the source. You never know what information will generate your next big idea. One of my favorite reads now is Brandweek.
